Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LobbyLink at lobbylink.net (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and LobbyLink.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LobbyLink. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account without authorisation.

You must provide accurate information when registering. LobbyLink reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Server Listings

Server owners are responsible for the accuracy of the information in their listings. Listings must describe a real, operational game server that you own or are authorised to represent.

• Listings must include an accurate description of at least 500 characters.
• Listings must not misrepresent server type, player counts, or game version.
• Listings must not promote illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or cheating software.
• Duplicate listings for the same server are not permitted.

We reserve the right to reject, remove, or suspend any listing that violates these rules or our content policies, at our sole discretion.

5. Verification

Certain features — including the verified badge and enhanced listing visibility — require you to verify ownership of your server. Verification must be completed honestly. Attempting to verify a server you do not own or control is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.

6. Voting

Each registered user may cast one vote per server per voting interval (as configured by LobbyLink). The following are strictly prohibited:

• Creating multiple accounts to cast additional votes.
• Automated, scripted, or bot-driven voting.
• Offering compensation (money, in-game items, services) in exchange for votes, except where explicitly permitted by game-specific rules.
• Coordinating vote manipulation through third-party platforms.

7. User Content

By submitting content to LobbyLink (server descriptions, reviews, posts, images, etc.), you grant LobbyLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user's account.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service without prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Post spam, phishing links, or malicious content.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

9. Premium Services

LobbyLink offers optional paid features ("Premium"). All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Premium features with reasonable notice. Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases of service failure.

10. Intellectual Property

The LobbyLink name, logo, and all original content on the Service (excluding user-submitted content) are the property of LobbyLink and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You must not use our branding without prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

LobbyLink does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any server listing or player count data. We are not responsible for the content, actions, or availability of third-party game servers listed on the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LobbyLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to LobbyLink in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
