Survival vs Creative
Survival servers require you to mine resources, refine materials, and build from scratch. This is the most popular mode — the resource grind gives purpose to every ship and station you construct. Many survival servers have factions where players form alliances, control territory, and wage war.
Creative servers give unlimited resources and remove damage. These are ideal for large-scale building projects, testing ship designs, or learning the game's building mechanics without the survival pressure.
Some servers run custom scenarios — scripted missions, economy systems, or role-specific gameplay. Check the server description for details.
